Why go to the nations
Several years ago God began to speak about world mission to a number of church leaders in Brazil. They understood that He was telling them to return to their spiritual forefathers in the UK and Europe and partner with them in world mission. They also understood that many of the European nations that had sent missionaries out to bring the gospel to Brazil were now themselves mission fields, and that God intended to bring revival to those nations.
As the discip;es were told to take the gospel from Jerusalem to the outer most parts of the earth, GTTN sees this command in reverse. The accompanying picture is a painting of a clear vision given to Peter Wilks in 1996 which depicts this phenomenon. The continents are represented as leaves in the autum of their life cycle and beginning to curl up at their edges. As they do a ring of glory appeard in the heavens and 'globules of glory,' 'the anointing' began to fall on the furthest edges of continents away from Israel. As the continent becan to role up, this glory then flowed across the nations heading towards Israel where a pool of glory grew until finally a column of glory shot up into the heavens.
These pages give some of the background to and origins of the Go to the Nations Link vision.
