Hereford/Gloucester Team in Uberlandia 2001

In April a team of 19 people from Christian Life Centre, Hereford and City Gates church, Gloucester, visited the Sal da terra Church. The Hereford Church have a missionary, Tim Mitchell, working with the church in Uberlandia, and here is his testimony about the team's visit.

"To see the group here was the fulfillment of a vision for me. Part of the reason for me being here is to build the bridge and the relationship between Christian Life Centre and Sal da Terra. To see so many people crossing this bridge and experience the impact of being among the Brazilian church was a great blessing for me. It seems that everyone was impacted in the same way I was the first time I came to Brazil. As well as our organised program, an important part of the visit was the group spending time with their Brazilian hosts.

t was a great blessing for our Brazilian hosts, many of whom have said that their lives will never be the same. It seems that God directed the organization of the hosting and many good friendships were made - who knows what fruit God will bring from this? It has certainly stimulated the vision for missions and for Go To The Nations within the church here. I'm sure that as a result of this trip many more will be crossing this bridge in both directions."
